Director: John McQuade

“Order is for idiots; genius can handle chaos.” - Albert Einstein

AbsoluteEye is an approach to photography that begins with the gap of perception: there is no preconceived filter of interpretation to frame the sense of the visual world. Without this contextualization the perceived world manifests in its own spontaneous composition: an orderly chaos.

This exhibit presents images from members of the AbsoluteEye collective. (www.absoluteeye.org)

John McQuade is a director of Nalanda Miksang Contemplative Photography. He is co-author of two books Looking and Seeing and Heart of Photography. They are available through Amazon. In the summer of 2018 he will present two week long workshops at the Haliburton School of Arts and Design.
