If one has paddled early in the morning on a quiet lake, one can experience the totem on the rocky shoreline. A normal perspective of these images would be to view them horizontally; but, in this case, I have turned the images to expose faces in the rocks! Gary Burns, Brantford Expositor, when reviewing the exhibit wrote, “For the first time the soul of these silent sentinels which seems to have remained hidden so long, appears in a surprisingly spirited and infinite variety. This makes the art of Nancy Westaway both fun and fascinating…”
